Mission: To provide monthly meetings, opportunities for conferences, research, exchange of information and knowledge among members, and networking opportunities for members, provide a forum for the personal and professional developemnt of its members through professional certification, provide an opportunity for members to develop leadership and strategic human resource management abilities, remain informed and educated about best practices in hiring and retaining employees, remain informed and educated about governmental compliance requirements, provide an opportunity to focus on current human resource management issues of importance to its members, provide a focus for legislative attention to state and national human resource management issues, and provide valuable information gathering and dissemination channels.
