Causes: International, International Development
Mission: Man Dodo Foundation is dedicated to improving the economic, social, educational, and health care status of impoverished and under-served men, women and children of Southern Haiti. Our focused efforts include: Economic, Social, Educational, and Health Care.
Target demographics: Our vision in Southern Haiti is to implement sustainable initiatives that will enhance immediate and lasting quality of life and health status through direct service and individual empowerment.
Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2017, The annual mission trip (intense two-day medical clinic and 1 day Christmas toy drive) provided 1,500 underserved individuals and families with: medical attention, hot meals, kits of supplies, food, clothing, shoes, and hygienic toiletries. 3,500 children received new, unwrapped toys. With our new education initiative; 70 brand new bicycles were awarded to the top academic performers in the region for excellence throughout the school year.
Geographic areas served: Man Dodo Humanitarian Foundation is a registered Non-profit organization with volunteers from all over the United States and Haiti. Together we collaborate to help families in Southern Haiti.
Programs: Man Dodo provides meals, medicine, and medical supplies; along with doctors and nurses during its annual Medical Mission & Toy Distribution. Toys are distributed to children in Haiti to light up some smiles. Our new education initiate provides brand new bicycles to students excelling in their studies. Man Dodo has assisted earthquake victims and hurricane disaster victims in Haiti.
