Mission: Making waves commits to rigorously and holistically preparing students to gain acceptance to and graduate from college to ultimately become valuable contributors to the workforce and their communities.
Results: 100% of graduates from the 2017/2018 academic year have committed to college, with 74% committed to a 4-year institution and 26% committed to a two-year institution. Making Waves Academy is listed as “A Top-Performing Bay Area Public School for Low-Income Latino Students” by Innovate Public Schools.

Programs: MWA's holistic approach focuses on academic preparation, social-emotional development, and helping students to identify their strengths and interests towards a pathway that enables them to fulfill their potential. College and career readiness at MWA includes offering Wave-Makers and their families wrap-around services such as psychological supports, college counseling, and career pathway development.
