Anthony and the team at Make and Investment in Love and Kindness truly make a difference in people’s lives. I’ve seen them do so many projects for people. Most recently cleaning up after big storm but also school supplies, painting etc…
I recently had the pleasure of working with M.I.L.K. through their Enterprise Development Program, and was overwhelmed by their attention and concern for my organization. While on a self-imposed sabbatical from my work at a Catholic parish, I hit upon an idea that my wife and I were convinced could (and should) be transformed into a nonprofit business. I was new to the nonprofit world at the time, and often found that I didn't always know what I didn't know, especially when it came to navigating the IRS en route to applying for 501(c)3 status. However, with missionary hearts, those at M.I.L.K. took my organization in hand and actually made the process look easy. I am very grateful to them for their assistance, and for their genuine concern for initiatives that aim to make a difference in our community. Thank you, M.I.L.K.

I have had MILK assist me for the past couple of years. I highly recommend MILK. They are incredibly knowledgable, easy to work with, and Customer focus. I am incredibly Grateful for MILK and all they do!
I have had the pleasure of serving with MILK on a couple of occasions. What I experienced is that they are very organized, practical and get things done effectively while maintaining compassion and respect for those they serve. The heart of this organization is what really inspires as they are actually living their mission: “Make an investment in love in kindness through empathetic actions bringing hope, dignity and an end to the culture of poverty." In other words, they not only talk the talk but they actually walk the walk. I can't wait for the next opportunity to work with them again!
I am grateful to have the opportunity to sing the praises of Milkmoney1.org, an organization which epitomizes the spirit of “Great Nonprofits.” I have fallen on hard times and no longer have the financial resources or the physical capabilities to properly maintain my yard. In the past, I've received notices from my vigilant HOA threatening fines, and I struggled to afford basic yard work. I had tried several local yard cleanup crews over the years; some were unreliable, many seemed to overcharge me considerably, and most did not do an adequate job. I learned about this terrific organization nearly two years ago, and I have been very fortunate to have the wonderful team of courteous and hardworking volunteers help me with my yard on numerous occasions. It is not just about the fact that I can always count on them to show up as scheduled or that they do an excellent job sprucing up my yard and cleaning up after they are done, it is even more about the fact that they accomplish it all with a very helpful attitude and make me feel like someone cares about me. They never make me feel like a charity case. Barb Scott truly lives up to her mission statement: “make an investment in love and kindness” with her gracious altruism and compassionate willingness to be of service. She has an incredibly generous heart. I consider Milkmoney1.org a wonderful, model organization which sets an admirably high bar for what a truly great Non Profit should aspire to be.
