Programs: Memorial hospital association is a 21-bed basic care home for the elderly who are unable to care for themselves and who need minimal assistance from staff to meet their needs. Basic care is a social model of care. However, medical needs are met by having trained, certified medication assistants distribute medications to residents. An rn also assesses residents upon admission, quarterly, and as needed, to provide quality care. Dietary, social and activity needs are also assessed upon admission, quarterly, and as needed if there is a change in a resident. Residents must be able to ambulate and/or transfer themselves to safety in case of a fire to be able to live at the memorial home. Memorial hospital association has 4 senior housing apartments attached to the 21 bed basic care facility, with services available through the basic care facility staff. Memorial hospital association has a rental unit with 4 apartments located in maddock. These apartments are available to any age.
