MA Cares is one big family who goes way beyond the support and love our service dogs. They keep each of us informed on how to help raise money needed for such a worthy cause. There are no other organization who could care and support us the way they do.
MaCares has been extremely helpful in assisting and caring for myself and my service dog Tommy. They are a caring organization that go out of their way in providing supplies and services that ensure Tommy's well being. The staff is basically a part our family and always there for us.
I am blind and have a guide dog. With the help of MaCares, I'm am able to purchase supplements, heartworm, food, vet bills and grooming expenses that would normally be costly. I also am able to purchase my dog all the toys and treats she will enjoy. I'm extremely thankful for all the assistance they provide for myself and other guide dog and service dog users.
MaCares - Saved Kiara and I from drowning in debt… Kiara was my first Service Dog and she pulled me out of the black hole I was in after my daughter had passed at the age of 13…. When MaCares accepted us into their program she was well known and loved by everyone. I loved being around the staff and families of MaCares, they brought me out of the shell I was in and I was known as the “ Cake Pop” maker for every fund Raiser we had… Kiara was always by my side no mater where we went for an MaCares benefit. Kiara became sick last year and MaCares said “ no worries , we got this.” She needed to see a Chiropractor- MaCares said “ no worries, we got this.” They paid all her vet bills, flea,tick and heart worm prevention. Then in July 2020 Kiara collapsed and we had to take her to the emergency vet, we found out she had Addison’s disease. We took her to our normal vet and he examined her and said she is not going to have a good life, she is going to suffer and pass soon. I called MaCares and let them know that my husband and I had made a decision to let her pass. MaCares said “ we got this, no worries….” They always had our backs no matter how much it cost or if we just needed to talk…. This organization is by far the best non-profit organization there is to be apart of- I can’t wait for my new service dog to finish his training so I can be apart of the family again!!!
maCares became my family when I had no family. They have provided not only financial support for my Service dog and I but also emotional support to bring me through some of the hardest trials in my life. They have been instrumental in the health and well being of my Service Dog. I love them and could never have made it without them.
This is an organization that goes above and beyond what they were meant to do. Not only do they help myservice dog but they also check up on me to see how my family and I are doing. They are like a second family to me. I would not know where I would be with out their help.
My story began some 11 years when MA Cares invited myself and my Service Dog into their family. Thru their support my family and I didn’t have to deal with the cost taking care of my dog. Grooming, food, vet care and being a part of the family allowed us to go out and volunteer to help others.
It’s a great nonprofit that helps with the financial needs for people with service dogs. I have been with the group since they started out helping veterans with service dogs about 11 years ago. Now they help not only veterans but also children, first responders and others that have service dogs or guide dogs. Helping us with our expenses is just a small part of what MaCares is all about. It is one big family who truly cares and they love spreading love to all who are involved rather you are a volunteer or you one with a service dog or guide dog. Love, caring, and family to me is the best way to describe MaCares❤️
maCares is an amazing organization. My Vietnam veteran husband was blessed to receive the very first service dog that they sponsored. They have provided care for Amy as well as support and encouragement for my husband, Bob. I shutter to think where he would be without his service dog as well as the company who has become more of an extended family than we could have ever imagined.
Amazing non-profit! The board works hard to make sure the non-profit utilizes every dollar to benefit the teams served. ma Cares truly cares about their mission and works hard to continue their mission by working with teams served, the community and donors. We love them so much! Without their support Harrison and his service dog wouldn’t be possible. ma Cares supports continual care costs but also gives him emotional support and also finds community support if he needs anything that is outside of their reach.
