Mission: We teach healthy food choices and proactive healthy habits through our very colorful Junior Chef Culinary classes using a rainbow of plant-based foods & hands-on gardening instruction.
Results: We have trained hundreds of children since 2015, and held a diabetic screening for parents. We have provided at-risk parents appropriate referrals and preventative education in our program. In addition, we have shared health related literature, and participated in conventions and children's health fair. Our Facilitator training has graduated advocates to launch programs in their community. Our garden has served our classes and excess has been shared with families.
