Mission: Established in the early 1980s, the Council's purpose is to serve persons sixty years of age and older in Lyon County by planning, coordination, and advocating related programs and services and by contracting for or administering programs and services within the framework of State and Federal regulations. The Council also serves as the official advisory agency to the Board of Commissioners of Lyon County.
