Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Affiliated with Binghamton University and national Road Scholar, this institute for lifelong learning has 500+ local members aged 50 and over who want to join a community of lifelong learners. Our volunteer course leaders are usually retired specialists, university faculty, members who have pursued interests in some depth, or knowledgeable community members. We encourage members to help keep Lyceum a participatory organization by volunteering for committees, sharing in policy making, proposing courses, and assisting at class meetings. We have over 100 volunteers!
