Mission: LATCH builds safe and nurturing communities that recognize the right to affordable housing, the importance of self-determination, and the value of mutual respect. We work collaboratively to develop and maintain housing; create resident-managed rental cooperatives; and advocate for public policies that address the needs of our communities.
Programs: LATCH fulfills its mission by: -- Developing and operating multi-family rental housing and keeping it affordable to families and individuals with incomes at or below 50% of the area median. -- Fostering safe, nurturing communities by establishing and providing support to resident-managed rental cooperatives at LATCH properties. -- Mobilizing volunteers to advocate for affordable housing in their local communities -- Providing technical assistance to congregations that want to develop affordable housing.
