I volunteer at Lucky's Place one Saturday per month, cleaning and "socializing" (a/k/a playing with) cats. Lucky's Place is a true no-kill animal shelter specializing in cats and horses (plus the occasional dog, hamster, etc.). Cats will never be turned away or euthanized due to a special condition. If they aren't adopted they have a place to stay at Lucky's. Lucky's also has no set adoption fee - you give what you can afford (food, litter, time). It is a truly amazing place.
