Love Your Menses is a nonprofit that promotes menstrual equity, not only in the United States, but in other parts of the world. In 2019 and 2020, Love Your Menses provided over 200 Gambian girls with menstrual products. I recall one of the girls telling me that she did not have access to menstrual pads, and the impact that Love Your Menses has on girls from impoverished parts of the world, such as The Gambia, is apparent. Not having access to menstrual products has many consequences for girls. For example, if one does not have access to menstrual products, that could prevent them from going to school or carrying out other important duties. By providing girls with menstrual products, not only does Love Your Menses reduce the issue of period poverty, but it also helps empower girls and encourages them to continue with their education and not let period poverty prevent them from accomplishing their goals. Love your Menses has been so helpful whereby we as Kenyans, there are many problems faced when it comes to the lack of Menstrural Products. Soo many girls lack Menstrural Products due to Poverty,some even drop out of school for the shame of the Menstrural periods .Some ends up in the streets to find support and some even get employed as house helps whereby here in Kenya it's illegal because it is considered to as child labour. The salary paid helps the girl to buy some Menstrural Products.This is where The Amazing wonders Rescue centre comes in and rescues the girl and changes her life. When Love your Menses intervened, many girls have benefited with Menstrural Products and good hygiene has been maintained in the localities and they can care for themselves and have courage to face life.Love your Menses has educated our girls on online classes and they are given knowledge on Menstrural circle on girls, women and the aged. To as Love your Menses has become a community changer.
A friend referred them to me, but after getting to know more about them, I feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing organization and serve the youths globally and now in Uganda.

Love Your Menses is a amazing organization that actively runs various programs to help stay connected with and educate girls both locally in the United States and internationally across the globe on health education and mentorship. I worked as an Ambassador with this organization in which I assisted in running a health education workshop series for girls in Nigeria and across the US to learn about their menses and also connect with each other.
Love Your Menses is a powerful initiative for young girls across the country. Through the direction of Dr. Ebere Azumah and Bria Gadsden, families are better equipped to prepare for and embrace this transition of life. The information shared in these online events is extremely insightful and needed; I wish I had this community resource when I was fourteen.
Love Your Menses supports menstrual equity WORLDWIDE, and they do so with such a dedicated, talented, and knowledgeable leadership team. Dr. Ebere Azumah and Bria Gadsden lead this org in all efforts - what’s profound is their ability to pivot and be innovative during times of community/public health crisis. Ensuring girls of color worldwide receive sanitary pads and educational resources is only a glimpse of what this organization is about - it’s about empowerment, mentorship, sisterhood, and leadership development for our young people.

Love Your Menses is the most phenomenal organization. They strive to promote menstrual education amongst girls in underserved populations and they have succeeded tremendously in doing so.
Love Your Menses (LYM) has been a social support and period advocacy group for menstruators. That they include mentorship in their impact reach is my favorite thing about this organization. I also love that they have a focus in addressing menstrual equity within the BIPOC community. Super thankful for the work that they do!
As an aunty of two teenage girls, Love Your Menses has been a great resource/tool for my nieces. Both of them have participated in their Webinar, and they have also enjoyed using the “Love Your Menses” app to help them keep track of their menstrual cycle. This organization is a powerful tool to empower girls and also help them to understand their bodies. Thanks for empowering girls around the world.
Being a member of Love Your Mense has been very rewarding and teaching me of the art of giving wholeheartedly . Love your Menses is empowering many vulnerable groups across the world. It is a great organisation. In partnership with MinaMualaNón, Love your Menses has helped many schools girls in Sao Tome and Principe by distributing free menstrual products and delivering menstrual education. Sao Tome and Principe is a tiny island /country is west Africa almost forgotten by the world. Love your Menses is a wonderful organization, its mission has a positive impact on young teenage girls and girls. She helps them understand their period, their reproductive system and how she should be proud of their period because it is vital. Thus with the easy and free access to tampons for the groups she works with and the notions of menstrual hygiene helps reduce tampon problems and the consequences due to poor period hygiene. I would like it to expand into a lot more territory and reach more groups.

Love your menses is such an amazing organization established to cater for teenage girls, who are underprivileged and deprived of good menstrual hygiene management. The association serve as a platform to continuously engage the teen girls on MHM and raise menstrual hygiene champions who will serve as change agents to demystify menstruation myths and taboos in their respective schools and communities. The association have also suceeded in touching the lives of girls in the south west Nigeria, change their ideology and conquered their fear of low self esteem and restored confidence in them. The organization organized a CHARM PROGRAM for teens girls,which created a room to enhance equity, self-confidence and eradication of long-standing discrimination and societal norms that reinforce traditional roles and prejudice against the girl-child.
Love your menses is committed to reaching more schools and communities across the country and is open to partnership with organisations, that share similar vision and are passionate about imparting lives through health talks, distribution of menstrual hygiene kits etc.

This organization has been the best for my preteen and teenage girls. They did a back to event which was very informative and helpful for young women to be successful through puberty. Resources were provided to the young ladies. The speakers were amazing. My daughters wanted the event to be more frequently. I love this organization.

Love your menses has helped communities in Nigeria break that believed taboo about menstruation in Nigeria where a girl, lady or woman seeing her flow needed not relate with other people around during her period of flow. Love your menses has built so much confidence in minds of teenage girls to make them appreciate what they have. Distribution of sanitary pads and joint effort in renovation of public school toilets for health hygiene purpose. Love your menses has also taken it upon herself to empower young girls through stem programs and inter-cultural programs for the main purpose of self appreciation.
