Mission: Louisa County Ambulance is a private non-profit organization that was founded in 1991 by a group of volunteers who knew emergency medical transportation was crucial for the sick and injured residents within their rural community. When these individuals built the service, their mission was to provide the community with the best possible patient care and safe and efficient transportation to the hospital. Almost 30 years later, our volunteers continue to live out this mission and support the groups’ efforts by delivering excellent pre-hospital care to the residents of southeast Iowa.
