The zone 2 libraries buy access for all patrons to downloadable ebook & audio books services from the black gold cooperative library system. This year the library foundation distributed its general fund investment earnings to increase zone 2 library users access to these services. The library foundations general fund distribution for this purpose was: $ 3,450. The population served by the zone 2 libraries totals 60,172.

annually the lompoc district libraries foundation sponsors concerts on the library lawn. On three separate sunday afternoons in august, the community was invited to attend a free concert at the lompoc public library. Each concert demonstrated a distinct style of american music and introduced many to our countrys unique music heritage. 7 volunteers supported the events.
