Mission: The logan county humane society's mission is to protect and prevent cruelty to animals through education, advocacy, direct care, emergency response services, and animal control services.
Programs: The society assumed responsibility for operation of the local animal shelter from the city of sterling in 2005. Animals are provided weatherproof shelter, food, medical care and every effort is made for adoption or reclaiming.
