Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: This lws was founded in 1972 and incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 in 2005. It began as a kindergarten through 8th grade school. Now it has added a preschool and a boarding high school. It's purpose is to educate students, not only academically and physically, but also on how to live a happy, successful life. That means we teach such things as how to work with your emotions, how to develop your will, and how to be good citizens of this planet. To do this our class sizes do not exceed 12 and our curriculum is centered on what each individual student needs for his or her growth rather than centering on an established curriculum that may or may not fit any particular child. Our school themes are adventure, self-discovery, service and personal excellence

Our hs curriculum is approved by the uc system. "our children are so supportive of each other that no one is afraid to get up and perform, play athletics, speak their truth. They write plays and direct each other in them. They win musical awards on a regular basis both individually and in groups. "our high school students have never scored below the 90th percentile as a school in the 10 years we have been giving them standardized tests. "our graduates live happy, successful lives, pursuing their interests with passion and as good citizens of this planet. "during our original accreditation, one of the accreditors, an ex-school superintendent from a large city, said: "if we could put what you are doing in the public schools, we could change the world. "
