Mission: To provide public spaces and initiatives
Target demographics: Living Well Kent (LWK) is a people of color-led organization that formed to create a healthier, equitable, and more sustainable community. Our primary goal is to increase access to healthy food and improve health outcomes so that all residents thrive. We do this by building community-level designed interventions that have been proven to successfully promote healthy eating and living, change habits and behavior, and provoke positive systems change.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 2050 community members reside all South King County.
Geographic areas served: in and around city of Kent, South King County, King County, Washington.
Programs: Food Access & Food Justice Youth Empowerment. Building Community Capacity.
