Mission: Life pittsburgh offers an alternative to nursing home placement for frail, indigent residents of allegheny county. We manage the acute and chronic medical needs of our enrollees, as well as, provide a social environment to combat the loneliness and isolation of living alone. This is accomplished in the community, our enrollees' homes, and our adult day health centers as opposed to an institution.
Programs: Primary payor of all medicare part a and b services - hospitalizations, skilled nursing facilities and physician services.
coordinate and provide extended medical services and supplies such as dental services, podiatry, optometry, dme, dentures, hearing aids, eye glasses, professional fees and pharmaceuticals.
provide a wide array of services for seniors including primary medical care, nursing, social services, recreational and rehabilitative therapies, meals, transportation, personal care and housekeeping.
