Working with Living Advantage makes me feel like I am making a difference in the future of foster care. After finding out how many youth have no access to their identifying documents, I wanted to be a part of the solution. Living Advantage connects youth to their identifying documents. I give $3.30 a month, which I feel like is a very small amount to invest in the futures of our nation's youth. Without proof of identification, it is more difficult for people to access housing, jobs, and higher education. When foster youth have better access to their identities, they have better access to opportunities. My mom and I took her students on a field trip to Living Advantage's annual Intro to Robotics event in May at the USC Galen Center and all really enjoyed ourselves.
