Causes: Mental Health, Mental Health Associations
Mission: We believe all people deserve equal access to the support they need to live well with depression. We empower people with depression to transform their own lives through free and effective peer support and skill-based education.
Results: In an anonymous 2019 online survey of 50 participants of our 5 weekly in-person groups in Philadelphia, 95% of Participant's agreed "LiveWell taught me skills I need to better manage my mood and depression symptoms." Our virtual groups, which launched in response to covid-19, have expanded our reach to be nation and even worldwide, and serve thousands of adults, teens, seniors, and people with co-occurring depression and addiction.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 3,000 adults and teens access free depression support
Geographic areas served: Philadelphia (with virtual services accessible anywhere in the world)
Programs: FREE and effective peer support groups: no insurance, diagnosis, or registration required. Trained peer facilitators lead the group in a one-of-a-kind behavioral health curriculum strategically designed to teach people the skills they need to not only reduce symptoms and relapses of depression, but also to live a more meaningful, connected, and productive life. Current groups are online and serve adults, teens, seniors, and people with co-occurring depression and addiction.
