Causes: Down Syndrome, Down Syndrome Research, Education, Health, Special Education
Mission: To benefit the lives of children with autism and other disabilities through preschool, tutoring and social activities.
Target demographics: children with Down syndrome
Direct beneficiaries per year: many members of our local community as well as families we've connected with online through our many resources.
Geographic areas served: Omaha, NE
Programs: small group classes providing specialized education targeted to the specific learning needs of children with Down syndrome. In addition, Little Leaf has extended its outreach to children and families across the country through avenues such as YouTube and Facebook. Most recently, Little Leaf published a book outlining its own proprietary potty training program, Underwear 4 Kindergarten. This program highlights the inherent problems parents and caregivers face when starting their potty training journey. This program has successfully potty trained many families across the US.
