Causes: Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection, Water, Water Resources, Wetlands Conservation & Management
Mission: Our mission is to assist local communities to manage their natural resources in ways that improve the area's economy and environment.
Programs: Project sharingproject sharing assists other qualified non-profits in our 9 county region to assist the underserved. The program may provide food, clothing, personel hygiene products, computer equipment, building materials, and a wide variety of products. Over 400 non-profit groups, title i schools, churches and other organization are registered and we have agreements with volunteer fire departments, food banks, clothes closet programs, helping hands programs, senior citizen programs and countless others that serve the ill, needy and underprivileged in the 9 county area. We have a warehouse manager, volunteers who work at the warehouse on a weekly basis to help promote and grow our program, and a worker through the national council on aging.
north bend lake trailthis will be used by horseback riders, hikers, and bikers for emergency access to very remote areas around the lake. This trail will be an asset to the county and entire region.
