Causes: Addictive Disorders, Counseling, Mental Health, Mental Health Treatment, Substance Abuse Dependency, Prevention & Treatment
Mission: Lit Path is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing affordable access to psychotherapy for individuals struggling with addiction and their families. Our unique approach aims to "light the path to recovery" by offering partial scholarships for therapy sessions conducted by certified professionals. We help make recovery therapy more affordable for everyone. Any licensed therapist in the US with the appropriate certification(s) in the addiction they treat can apply to participate in the program for free.
Target demographics: individuals struggling with process and/or substance addiction and their families
Direct beneficiaries per year: 35 individuals get addiction therapy and 62 therapists to offer scholarships to their clients
