Causes: Domestic Violence, Family Violence Shelters, Homeless & Housing
Mission: Housing for human trafficking survivors.
Programs: Lily pad haven went public with our name, mission and brand in 2014. We launched our website and quarterly newsletter and significantly increased public speaking engagements. We were afforded the opportunity to hire two full-time staff members, hosted our first two interns, and increased our volunteerism hosting 7 training sessions.
during 2014, lily pad haven provided housing to 13 survivors of human trafficking and their children providing over 1030 nights of safe housing and meeting their basic needs.
lily pad haven has maintained our initial two homes and added one additional home in november of this year increasing our total bed volume by 33% allowing capacity of two additional guests at a time.
