Mission: To assist the body of christ in articulating the biblical pro-life message in word and deed, in order that churches all over the world engage in compassionate sanctity of human life ministry as they fulfill the great commission.
Programs: Life matters worldwide develops materials for churches, especially relating to the annual commemoration of sanctity of human life sunday. The aim of bulletin inserts and the pastors handbook is to assist pastors and teachers in articulating the biblical pro-life message. We offer speakers for churches, schools, & conferences. We provide many materials through our website and social networking. We also use social media to disseminate news and information of interest to supporters, and provide consultation on various problems relating to abortion, euthanasia, and sexual purity. Our prayer calendar shares prayer requests from pro-life partner ministries around the world with over 1200 prayer partners.
life matters worldwide partners with like-minded pregnancy care centers throughout the united states and internationally. Our aim is to help establish and sustain pccs as effective gospel outreaches -- primarily through consultation, development, and training resources. A few years ago life matters worldwide took over publication of at the center magazine, which is now exclusively an online e-zine designed to encourage and educate pcc directors, staff, volunteers and board members. Each year in early may, life matters hosts the summit, a two-day conference, designed to challenge, encourage, and refresh pcc representatives with approximately 200 in attendance.
life matters worldwide has developed a program which helps churches care for those in their congregations who are elderly, and the terminally or chronically ill of any age. It is adaptable to any size or structure of congregation. Lift also focuses on care for the care-givers. There is no other ministry like lift that provides holistic ministry to those in need within the congregation and in the community. Life matters provides training and consultation for churches that want to engage their people in ministry that is practical, intentional, sustainable and educational. With lift, we hope to assist the elderly in finishing well, leaving a legacy and impacting the next generation. Toward this end, life matters also conducts a one-day conference called engaging our aging. The first eoa conference was held october 28, 2017; the 2018 conference will be held on october 27.
