Provides creative workshops that compliment the rehabilitative interventions for individuals, families, and professionals facing the challenges of a special need diagnosis. The workshops encourage family engagement in the carry-over of the special needs interventions.
Programs: Life is washable, inc. Dba the magic paintbrush project provides facilitated workshops for individuals (infants through geriatric) diagnosed with a developmental disability and their caregivers. The project presents unique programs which are designed to meet the needs and goals of the individual and their family/caregivers, enhance the family/caregiver's ability to support the special needs individual, and provide a responsive approach for community inclusion. The workshops use creative materials and patent pending methods to deliver programs and services. The magic paintbrush project currently serves communities in new york state and pennsylvania.
