Causes: Human Service Organizations, Human Services
Mission: To empower those facing adversity and trauma by providing therapeutic wilderness programs; to change lives by developing and sustaining long-term partnerships with organizations that serve individuals who are afflicted by health issues, emotional and psychological trauma, and social and economic adversity.
Programs: During 2017, life expanding adventure program (leap) executed ten multi-day whitewater kayaking programs with a curriculum designed to promote individual success, support community development, and serve as a catalyst for positive life changes. In 2017 leap served nearly 150 unique participants through eight program partners.
