Programs: The transitional housing program provided temporary (ave. 6-8 months) housing and supportive services to 163 homeless men, women and children during the period in scattered sites throughout the city of newark.
the project homeline program provided homelessness prevention and rehousing assistance, housing information and referrals, budgeting and case management services. During the 2016-17 fiscal year, 132 persons received emergency aid for rent, deposit and/or utility assistance. Another 687 persons (including 249 children) were helped with technical assistance, housing counseling, budgeting and other life skills associated with housing.
supportive services for veteran families (ssvf) is funded by the veterans administration (va). Ssvf provides supportive services and housing support to very low-income veterans (adults and families) who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness. The program was launched in october 2013. During the 2016-17 fiscal year, 147 persons received financial assistance and case management for homelessness prevention or rapid re-housing assistance in licking, knox and coshocton counties.
