Mission: "together we will end food hunger in the libby area". Libby food pantry is a community organization that provides food in situations for all eligible individuals and families in need, regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, or disability. Free-will donations come from the general libby community. Libby food pantry accomplishes equitable distribution of food through the generous giving of time and labor by an organized team of dedicated and compassionate volunteers.
Programs: Provided food to area needy people based upon established guidelines. During 2017, 5,252 qualifying people were given food. Also, 48,530 pounds of food were received from the general public and area businesses. The organization, in addition, purchased 50,709 lbs of food in 2017 for distribution to qualifying people. Average household income of recipients was 11,504 .
