Mission: The lehigh carbon community college foundation generates the philanthropic resources such as scholarships and other student funding to support the lehigh carbon community college's mission, programs, and capital projects that help turn student aspirations into reality through education.
Programs: All funding generated is directed toward scholarships for lehigh carbon community college (college) students or toward the purposes for which donors have made their donations, such as capital improvements (new athletic fields). The lehigh carbon community college foundation (foundation) provides financial support to the students and the graduates of the college, as well as to the college itself. In addition to annual operating support of over $700,000 given to the college by the foundation, an annual gift of $75,000 is given to the college with the only restriction that the funds be used for student scholarships, which during the fiscal year ending june 30, 2018, helped with the tuition of 104 students. In addition, students were provided with revenue from 64 scholarship and award funds, including an endowed fund that covers tuition and fees for the last two years of qualified college graduates' bachelor's degrees at select pennsylvania institutions. The foundation again funded more than 70 students with scholarships for english as a second language and ged study and testing at the college.
