Causes: Economic Development, Urban & Community Economic Development
Mission: Developing, constructing, owning and operating real estate projects that are deemed to be in the general public interest and for the betterment of communities served by the corporation with the objectives of: combating community deterioration; preserving properties of historic significance; eliminating and/or redeveloping blighted urban areas; relieving conditions of poverty, dependency and unemployment in economically-depressed areas; improving local economic conditions through the promotion of commerce, and creation of jobs and provision of affordable community services to all segments of local populations.
Programs: Real estate development services generally including but not limited to acquisitions, new project development, acquisition/ rehabilitation of existing projects and subdivision development; project due diligence and preparation of financial projections; finding and arranging financing; negotiating agreements with potential development partners and equity investors.
