Programs: Echn provides care to patients who meet certain criteria under its charity care policies without charge or at amounts less than its established and contractual rates. Echn does not pursue collection of amounts determined to qualify as charity care: as such, these amounts are not reported as revenue. Charity care for fy 2014 was $3,599,808 for 1,305 total approved applicants at mmh and rgh. Expenses related to the services performed for patients of echn, inc.
