What Jonathan Dunker and his crew of volunteers has managed to accomplish is truly extraordinary in this time of economic challenge. LTDA's tireless efforts to attend to the needs and dreams of those who live in our communities but do not have the privileges of so many around them is work of the highest and most honorable calibre.
LTDA is far more than outdoor programs: tutoring and mentoring at-risk youth, providing leadership roles, career counseling, and engendering sportsmanship are just a few of the many other programs LTDA manages. The participants develop deep pride in their accomplishments as they grow and learn new skills, and LTDA even has prior participants return to become volunteers.
I can't say enough about this group. When they take the children out in the open air you see their faces light up. Learning about the outdoors and their connection to it is invaluable. I'm so proud to help this a possibility. Sylvia Wildfire, Owner & CEO On Call Medic
