Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Education, Primary & Elementary Schools
Mission: Education of students grades kindergarten thru 8th offering experiential learning, personalized instruction (10:1 student teacher ratio), team conflict resolution, high academic standards, multi age classes and mentorship, and an all school musical.
Programs: Tlc school is located on a 600-acre campus, with organic gardens, mountain trails, three lakes, soccer fields, and tennis courts. Tlc classes are filled with hands-on, inquiry-based lessons that encourage students to make discoveries. Each students uniqueness is embraced and encouraged allowing personalized development and growth. School curriculum develops listening skills, anger management techniques, and conflict mediation skills; all skills which support and build family and community. Academic standards at tlc school are set high; students are given the opportunity to work above grade level in every subject. This includes small class size, individualized instruction, and tutoring. Each year, our students perform in an all-school musical which presents a wonderful opportunity for the student body to work as a team and the entire community to come together.
