Mission: Educate the public about the incidence and impact of early alcohol use by children between 9 and 15 years of age. Energize the public to address the issues within thier families, schools,and communities in a sustained way that seeks to elicit change. Educate state and national policy makers and opinion leaders on the seriousness of the early onset of alcohol use. Make prevention of alcohol use by children a national priority.
Programs: Educating the spouses,parents,schools,communities and policy makers on the research that indicate the impact of childhood drinking. This is done through the weekly update email sent to about 700 people, town hall meetings attended by 600 community members, prevention day seminars, and the entities website.
