An amazing first step if you're new on your leadership journey, a pertinent one if you're already on the path to effective leadership.

I was part of the class that graduated in 2017 and found the combination of historical perspectives enlightening and the practical application of the leadership skills we were building each class challenging in the best possible way.

Leadership Pasadena provides diverse points of view on the history of Pasadena, allowing you to form your own context of the current climate of the city while increasing your emotional intelligence and giving you the opportunity to apply everything you're learning in a real world leadership role within the community via the project you complete as part of a team you bring together with your classmates.

For myself, it was a transformative experience with relationships and skills that I've enjoyed to this day. I highly recommend Leadership Pasadena if you want to make a true and meaningful impact on your community.

Wow, a great organization. I had just moved to Pasadena from the east coast 20 years ago and was in the first class, 1999. Through LP, I learned about my beloved new city and forged unbelievable friendships. It's the best experience. Go for it!!!

I was in the very first class in 1999. What an awesome experience!!! Having just moved to Pasadena from Atlanta, it was a great way to learn about my new city and meet wonderful and interesting people who remain life long friends. My experience was instrumental in being a better board member for the Lake Avenue Community Foundation. By understanding how Pasadena works, formally and informally, has saved tons of time and frustration. A must do for anyone who wants to be involved in Pasadena.

I joined the LP Board because I want community, business and government leaders who are informed, inspired and collaborative to work together respectfully and effectively to find solutions for our community issues--and I wanted to help LP do that for the Pasadena area. After several months, I took the 8-month course and was so amazed at what I learned--about my own leadership challenges and about the Pasadena, the good, bad and in between. Pasadena is truly a unique city with remarkable intellectual, cultural and financial wealth yet social problems still impact many in our city. But now I know the community leaders personally and I know the issues to focus on and I am so much better equipped to do my part to make Pasadena a better city for everyone. And my life is so much richer with the new friends I've made in LP and in the community and how much more engaged I am in this great city.

I graduated from LP in 202 and it was the best investment I made both personally and professionally. Engaging with other leaders over an 8 month period -- most of whom I wouldn't have interacted with otherwise -- was invaluable. Really expanded my perspective about the community, beyond my imagination. The project aspect of the program provided a way to immediately apply our learning, while making a significant contribution to the community. I would highly recommend LP for anyone looking to take their leadership to the next level!

Leadership Pasadena was a great experience for me. I had just moved from over 2,000 miles away to take a job in Pasadena and didn't know very many people. There has not been a single more important thing that I have done to grow personally and professionally than this program. Highly recommend it to anyone that wants to grow and learn more about their community.
