Mission: To create funds for everyone to work towards their dreams and to empower, assist and enable them through exposure and informed decision making to choose and reach their goals and lifestyle without being forced into any practice they don’t want to engage in. To eradicate poverty in a self-sufficient way through education.

Results: Lchokuti Foundation was only established in 2016, i.e. a few months ago, hence it is to early for most of the successes to be seen. Especially the shift of attitude of the local community in regard to negative view towards education is a long process, as opinions cannot be forced upon people but rather need to be convinced slowly. Partial successes could be witnessed as a higher intake of at least the smaller children after our main parents’ event/ organization launching, however whether they will remain at school is another issue and will be seen in the farther future taking a lot of work. Furthermore, we have caught big interest of the community in participating in our informal education programme hence showing locals’ readiness and promising success. Also, in our initial evaluation period of our prize/reward system for pupils’ good attending as part of the school programme, we recorded an increase of attendance.
