Causes: Leadership Development
Mission: Las comadres is a nationally known latina organization empowering women to be actively engaged in the growing latino/hispanic communities through on line and face to face networks. The mission of las comadres: connecting and empowering latinas everywhere through community building/networking, culture, learning and technology.
Programs: Las comadres para las americas, organization, is an informal internet-based group that meets monthly in many us cities to build connections and community with other latinas. The organization has been building relationships, doing business together, helping each other find jobs, sharing news and introducing comadres and learning about/celebrating our latinidad. We are creating "legacy" programs to provide educational opportunities that lay the foundation of wealth, health and making our voices heard.
