My wife and I learned about LHCP when attending a service for a soldier killed in Iraq. We investigated the organization and spoke to Karen Grimond about her vision.

I was blown away by this woman's commitment. She works tirelessly for the organization. He doesn't recieve any compensation, and she often funds organization expenses from her own resources. I KNOW 100% of my dollars go to the mission of LHCP.

Karen is adament about providing only what wounded members of our armed services need at Landstuhl hospital and field hospitals. She has turned down donation of goods because the items were not what the doctors, nurses, and service members need. I KNOW that my dollars are going to be used to purchase items that will be used, not thrown away or given away.

Karen protects the confidentiality of those service men and women who are helped. Karen is the conduit between donors and members of our armed services so their privacy is protected. While this takes time, I KNOW that what I provide will get where it needs to go and the service members' idenity is protected.

This is a great organization to help support our men and women who were wounded while risking their lives for our security.
