Being a volunteer with the Jenkins Donelson Foundation has been a joy. Watching the expressions of gladness from receiving free goods was priceless, not just once, but many times.

I am so grateful to the Jenkins Donelson Foundation for their ability to provide products free to the public.

The Jenkins Donelson Foundation has been a God send to my family. The JDF has provided us with clothing and other household goods in our time of need on more than one occasion. We were even blessed to get Christmas gifts for the children. I can't sing praises enough for the Jenkins Donelson Foundation.

Jenkins Donelson always help individuals in need, not only in the Stafford community but neighboring communities also. When she is contacted that a family needs something she makes sure their needs are meet.

My cousin needed a heater and dog food during a financial difficulty. The organization helped out and she was go grateful.

I like volunteering for this nonprofit. They help a lot of people by giving away shoes and helping people stay healthy.

JDF volunteers work hard to bless people who need help. Free shoes, socks, clothes, and household goods are necessities this nonprofit gives away to help improve the lives of the underserved. The Health Fair was great and people learned CPR, Zumba and ways to stay healthy.

I've volunteered for JDF from the beginning, and we've helped people in DC, MD, VA, and other places. On one 9/11 anniversary, we blessed a lot of people in DC. A lot of work, effort, and energy went into that event, praise God it blessed a lot of people. The Bible says faith without works is dead. We and so many other people worked real hard to answer some of these folks' requests for blessings. It was a beautiful day and God put it all together with the help of so many faithful souls.

I had fun! My favorite things were the ambulance, cpr, prizes and free shoes.

Everyone is super nice and very helpful. My son and I are truly blessed in the shoe donation we were able to receive for school which will benefit him for his P.E. Classes and extra curricular activities. Thank you so much to everyone at the Jenkins Donelson Foundation and God Bless you!

As people are struggling to make ends meet more than ever before, the Jenkins Donelson Foundation is a God-sent foundation addressing and providing exuberant services for communities. I received blessings from the Jenkins Donelson Foundation then became a volunteer. I can attest they truly bless people. On August 28th 2022 Veterans from WWII, KOREA, VIETNAM and the citizens of Newport News were blessed beyond their wildest imagination by the Jenkins Donelson Foundation in a giveaway celebration that almost defies description. Carolyn and Robert Jenkins knew that our military veterans, their families, and the needy were more often overlooked and forgotten than celebrated; what can we do, they asked? Recruiting the African American Historical Society of Newport News as partners they launched a most ambitious giveaway campaign this city has ever seen. Congressman, mayor, Veterans Administration, American Legion, City of Newport News, and a host of vendors, volunteers, and citizens to this day marvel and speak with the highest praise and gratitude to the Jenkins Donelson Foundation for their grand giveaway. We're honored to share a few words of recognition.

On December 18, 2021 the Jenkins Donelson Foundation blessed the residents of Buckingham county with so many items (bicycles, drones, dish detergents, clothes detergents, socks, clothes, air dehumidifiers, games, household items, art and school supplies just to name a few items). The items were such a blessing and the outpouring of cheer that were brought to our residents' faces were amazing, especially during the time period in which we live (with the pandemic and employment issues).
The JDF served all age groups; we had the very young all the way to the very mature; those that were in school to those college attendees.

Words cannot express how grateful I and the residents of my community were at this event. I will always volunteer for this foundation.

I had was surprised and impressed with this foundation. I had the pleasure to volunteer twice at two very different locations, a church and a community event at the county. The volume of what was being donated was astounding. The amount of work behind the scenes before the event could take place must be overwhelming at times. There were massive volumes or items to be donated. I was so impressed with what was being given away to the community. This is a labor or love and commitment to the community. It is truly a God focused ministry. It definitely provides a service to a community in need. I am pleased to do what ever I can to ensure this ministry continues. To see the joy it brings to those in need is a motivator to give of my time.

The Jenkins Donelson Foundation has been a tremendous blessing to the Stafford/Fredericksburg community as well as many other communities by providing and making available a vast assortment of goods free of charge to people in need of help. They provide needed essentials like clothing, shoes, household items, pet food, and so much more. Our church has hosted and helped with the Community Giveaway events and people are blessed and appreciative of the help, compassion, and care provided by the leaders of JDF! Wonderful organization who responds to community and individual needs with action.

Last year when I was contacted to pick up four pallets of school supplies from Ms. Carol, I never imagined what a connection she was to support the needs of our students and families. She always answers my call for help. From those pallets were able to provide basic materials to our students to use for distance learning and in preparation to return to school. Since then, I have reached out to Ms. Carol for thousands of masks and hygiene supplies to meet the health and safety needs of our students during the pandemic. We are very thankful for our partnership with the Jenkins Donelson Foundation.

The Jenkins Donelson Foundation is a blessings to communities throughout Virginia and DC. I have worked as a volunteer several times and I see all of the families and children receiving the thing they need. This foundation has helped so many in the communities of Stafford and Fauquier and beyond

I have been blessed to assist this foundation on numerous occasions. They are always professional, personable and wanting to share with others. An event on 12/18/21 in Buckingham County provided numerous families with unexpected holiday joy!

Jenkins Donelson Foundation is to be thanked for helping hundreds of folks in need in Buckingham County recently. From toys to clothing, and appliances to school supplies, the community truly will and has benefited from this generous giveaway.

This was the first year I volunteered at the event in Buckingham County and am really hopeful that the event will be held again in 2022 so that I can volunteer again! The event was a blessing to so many people and it blessed me to be a part of it. We were able to personally meet Mrs. Carolyn and Mr. Jenkins and to speak with them and thank the foundation for the holiday giveaway and making Christmas a reality for others. They took no credit for themselves as they gave all the praise to God which was a truly humbling experience. It was a GREAT feeling being a part of the giveaway and I can not fully express my gratitude to the Jenkins and to everyone who is a part of this foundation. While we are living in such troubling times, it is always reassuring to know good people do still exists in this world and I am so thankful to have been a part of seeing an amazing foundation giving back to the community.

It was amazing seeing all the items that were available for the community to obtain free. The community was appreciative. Pretty sure if this is done again, will be an even larger turnout.

Words cannot convey the blessings that the county of Buckingham, Virginia received from Jenkins Donelson on December 18, 2021. They held a huge Holiday Giveaway for needy families in our county and it was beyond my wildest expectations. So many families received well needed items such as clothes for the entire family, toys/bikes, personal and household items, non-perishable foods, electronics, school supplies, heaters, vacuums, humidifiers and the list goes on and on. . So many families stated they did not think their family would have anything for Christmas, but JDF made their lack of hope a beautiful reality. Residents of Buckingham County is asking for this blessing again in 2022. I hope the foundation can make this happen. It was AMAZING!! I highly recommend this foundation. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Jenkins Doneslson Foundation at a community giveaway event in DC. We were able to serve over a 100 families with clothes, home goods, and big ticket items (e.g., bikes, vacuum cleaners, air fryers). The event was a resounding success due to the work by Ms. Donelson. Not only only did she supply all of the items, she was instrumental to guiding our team on how to put on an event of this size. Ms. Donelson and her foundation are simply amazing!

Thanks to Carolyn and the Jenkins-Donelson Foundation for their generous donation of football practice jerseys. These types of donations assist us in serving the children of Baltimore.
Because of their generosity we will be able to reduce the impact on families that may otherwise have to purchase them.

I attended a community distribution where they provided house hold goods, clothes, curtains, toys, cleaning products, sanitizer, vacuum cleaners, fans, humidifiers, tables and chairs, TV stands and more. All was free.

The foundation was great we got equipment for my football organization and we also got clothes for kids in the organization also Mrs.Jenkins was the best and i greatly appreciate her and the organization for helping me and my team out

In honor of Women's History Month 2021, Independence Now hosted its Annual Women's Tea VIRTUALLY, on March 17th, 2021. With our first black/woman of color Vice President and a largely female, incoming presidential communications staff, women are making massive gains in 2021!

So IN used the event to celebrate women with disabilities' accomplishments, especially given the fact that the COVID-19 lockdown has been hard on the social and professional lives of persons with disabilities, particularly for persons with disabilities who find getting out of the house, and socializing with others—at least sometimes—helps. To that end, the JENKINS-DONELSON FOUNDATION helped make this difficult time even easier by providing household items, including a "Dirt Devil" and clothes to donate to the women participants. We remain BEYOND grateful to the JDF for its continuing support to the disability community. THANK YOU JDF!

JDF has been a blessing to so many during this pandemic. Helping the homeless on the street, those living in shelters, and homes with families in need.

I love how they always come when you need them the most and when i need things they always come as quickly as possible. They have helped me with toys socks and cat and dog food and house good things.
