Causes: Military & Veterans Organizations, Veterans
Mission: The Lake Superior Warriors were founded on June 12th, 2019, with a mission to help disabled military veterans reintegrate into civilian life by building a sense of community, camaraderie, and self-confidence. The program engages in volunteer and outreach events to build connections between our members and our communities. We use the game of hockey to build camaraderie and provide therapy to our members. We provide our members the opportunity to participate on the ice at a level appropriate to their skill level and physical ability, building their self-confidence, and relieving stress.
