I am a big fan of what this organization does! As their website says they provide opportunities and support for families with children affected by autism and related neuro-developmental conditions. As someone who has worked in the charity field since 1993, at Boys & Girls Clubs, I appreciate what Madalyn and her team are doing for youth and families in need!

Mission: Lake pointe resource center, inc. , plans, organizes, and conducts community parent support groups, educational meetings, and networking opportunities for parents with special needs.
Programs: Lake pointe resource center, inc. 's parental support groups and educational meetings are for parents of children and youth with special needs. Directors and volunteers are involved in planning and facilitating the meetings along with guest speakers who are professionals working in the field of neurobehavioral and developmental disabilities. Lake pointe resource center, inc. , also plans to provide sibling workshops for the siblings of children with special needs. Volunteers will conduct them quarterly. This activity is provided as a charitable service to the families in our community who have children with special needs, and there will not be a charge to participate.
lake pointe resource center, inc. , plans to offer low cost professional development and/ or educational presentations on effective teaching and intervention strategies for children and youth with autism and other developmental disabilities to parents and professionals. The educational workshops will be open to all who register.
