Causes: Animals, Botanical, Horticultural & Landscape Services, Environment, Natural Resources Conservation & Protection, Wildlife Preservation & Protection
Mission: Lake katherine nature center and botanic gardens' mission is to connect people with nature,inspire passion for environmental stewardship and gardens in a unique urban land site, and to promote environmentally sustainable choices through education, outdoor experiences, and scientific research.
Programs: Educate and promote the general public awareness of the preserve and the environment. Increase general public participation in the development and maintenance of the preserve. This is accomplished through the learning center and through a variety of seasonal festivals.
