Mission: Proudly serving our Senior Citizens by offering programs and services to ensure active and healthy lifestyles, through information and opportunities. Dedicated to the enjoyment of the senior population of Macon County, acknowledging the value of human life and affirming the dignity and self-worth of older adults.
Programs: The HELP (Helping the Elderly Live Productively) Program is intended to coordinate volunteer assistance for elderly and disabled persons in need of services. We recruit and mobilize volunteers utilizing community resources available to the elderly. The volunteers do services such as grocery shopping, bill paying, miscellaneous errands, letter writing to clients, telephone reassurance, chore services, visitation and reading.
