Mission: In collaboration with community partners, sustain the Lafayette Library and Learning Center, as a community place and regional resource that offers enriched experiences for all ages. The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation (LLLCF) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public benefit corporation. All charitable donations to LLLCF are tax deductible, subject to the provisions of Internal Revenue Code Section 170. Trustees of the LLLCF dedicate themselves to: * Supporting the vision of Lafayette as a community of lifelong learners by providing a wide spectrum of high quality programs, including through the Glenn Seaborg Learning Consortium * Contributing to the fiscal health and sustainability of this premier community asset
Target demographics: free access to lifelong learning including all the resources and technology available at the Library, enriching programs, STEM Lab and much more.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 300,000 patrons visit the Library each year. More than 30,000 attended one of approximately 1,000 programs.

Programs: The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation (LLLCF) is responsible for funding over 52% of the annualized operating costs for the library plus ensuring Library resources meet the growing needs of the community with library materials, technology, 6-days a week with extended OPEN library hours, funding a rich menu of approximately 1,000 programs and paying for facility maintenance and operations.
Located in the heart of Lafayette, at the corner of Mt. Diablo Blvd and First St., the Lafayette Library offers on-site parking, convenient access by public transportation, BART, and is within walking distance of several schools, senior housing, and many of the community's neighborhoods.
