Mission: L. E. A. R. N. Is committed to placing abandoned and unwanted labrador retrievers in new forever homes. L. E. A. R. N. Also concentrates on educating adopters and the public about this breed.
Programs: Many labs who enter our rescue are in dire need of vetting. Some labs are surrendered by their owners due to not being able to afford the proper care. Our labs get the necessary vetting to deem them healthy prior to adoption.
this expense is for the necessary shelter, food, and supplies for the labs in our rescue. This includes expenses from our retrievers and redemption program at thompson correctional center (tcc) which inmates foster our labs, giving back to the community. Both get a second chance.
our mission involves educating adopters and the public on the importance of spaying/neutering, training, and the humane treatment of labs. We do this by attending many fundraising events throughout the year.
