Causes: Education

Mission: The los angeles county public library foundation was established in 1982 to raise funds from foundations, corporations and individuals to support its mission of enhancing the quality of life in local communities by promoting education, self-development and life-long learning through its support of the county of los angeles public library. For several years, its primary focus was in the area of literacy, current programs include supporting family place centers for early childhood information, parent education, and emergency literacy, and enchancing the library's four ethnic resource centers.
