Mission: L.E.A.D.E.R.S. (Leadership Education Academy to Develop, Encourage, and Reinforce Success), founded in 2000, provides students information and training to make healthy lifestyle choices and to become positive leaders and role models in their school and community. It no longer seems that students lack academic preparation; their deficiencies are motivation, communication, integrity, and discipline. This program directly addresses the needed skills of self-discipline, honesty, commitment, respect, and responsibility by exploring the importance of setting high goals and being good citizens in both school and community. Students need not only to avoid making poor choices, but they also need to realize the advantages of making good ones.
