Programs: Kulintang arts 2017-18 program activities in the 2017-2018 program season, kularts worked with 63 artists across disciplines to produce new artist commissions, monthly classes, exhibitions, performances, and a symposium centered around pilipino arts and culture, various . Sequential art project published 5 comic book stories; produced nine 36 x 56 vinyl posters; exhibitions at the city college of san francisco library, and the undiscovered night market,pistahan parade, and bindlestiff studio. -monthly pinoys here & now workshops offering introductory classes contemporary and traditional pilipino arts. September of 2017: -18 culture bearers and artists from mindanao activities music & dance performances and workshops in weaving, epic chanting, dance, and music. -december 2017: -15th annual parol lantern festival in collaboration with the filipino american development foundation returned in december, bringing light to pilipino holiday traditions with exhibition of commissioned and community-made parol lanterns. May 2018: -the world premiere of dance & multimedia inc. 6x9 performance at bindlestiff studio-post-performance talkback with various attorneys, community members, and activists. -companion exhibition of 100 hilway inday dolls. -screening of dance-film she, who can see at caamfest and documentary rico, soma pinoy kabuki amc. June 2018: -rosalie zerrudos performance of pdl 700% mothering behind bars. -the 3rd annual dialogue in the diaspora, a convening of innovative artists and cultural workers.
