Mission: The mission of key project is to nurture and promote the cultural, environmental, social, economic and recreational well-being of the kualoa-heeia area by providing a vital grassroots civic resource that effectively serves the needs of our diverse multi-cultural community.
Programs: Youth and child: keys major program for youth in 2016 is our holomua youth program, an after-school program designed to build the capacity of our youth to make the leap from elementary to middle school. It is a culture based program that seeks to build sense of place, sense of self and academic excellence.
facility use: the facility use program encompasses all key programs and services along with those offered by others at the multi-use facility. Meeting rooms and the pavilion are provided for use by facility use agreements.
food programs: there is a monthly ohana food distribution that key hosts on its campus. Fresh produce and grocery items are distributed to some 150 families. This program is possible through the hawaii foodbank. Additionally, key project has an emergency food pantry for distribution of nonperishable food supplies to families in need. Key also has a breakfast program for "kupuna- or seniors age 50 and above to provide a free breakfast to anyone that qualified from our service area - kaneohe to kahuku. We had an average of 125 participants at each breakfast and provided workshops, classes and guest speakers to engage our seniors in healthy activites.
